I need a wireless headset for my bedroom watching television because of more than 2 hours each night, while my wife sleeps and approximately 2 hours early morning. I also owned a wireless network and wired Sennheiser Panasonic RP-HT970 HDR60 Vibration Series Headphone. Sennheiser worked well, but the rechargeable battery (two included) to be spent only about two days. I have always had recharge so I could share, but it was annoying it is cut out in the middle of the program. After a year of not hold battery charge longer and when I saw how much it costs to replace the battery, I decided to buy the Panasonic. Because he was wired, sounded the Panasonic RP-HT970 great, especially on the effects of low-DVD. It is very comfortable and I would be still using that if I walked into the cable and broke it. It is also an obstacle for my wife when she was crossing the room.I decided to go wireless again and bought the Sony MDR-IF240R after reading reviews.

But I have them to listen to my TV, and I am satisfied with the ease of installation, ease of use, long battery life, and a clear exemption from applying. They can not be used outside the room, and the sound quality is good but not exceptional. Perfect for TV. While some obstacles block the infrared path, the sound continues uninterrupted.

Do not get enough range of "24 feet", but then again all the range I need and it was expected within a room. The advantage of free movement within the room with reasonable fidelity to watch TV late at night or play with the computer without distracting others. However, the phone is clear that hissing sound is mostly distraction of music. Minor peeve is worth the plastic bar at the top. The padded bar, and the phones are equipped with springs to force the bar at the top of the head. Much Uncomforable me after a while, 'and I have a full head of hair. The comfort level is good if you wear the mobile draped along the back of the neck (which makes it difficult to sit in a chair or lying on the sofa support) or jaw (which makes it difficult to munch on snacks at the site, however ,). Or you can kludge of a period certain with electrical tape. Overall, the phone is ok for the price. Just be sure that your expectations match what you are paying. If you want high fidelity and comfort and range, will be better to pay for another model.
